Express Entry Programs

Federal Skilled Workers Program

This program is for skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. The program uses six selection factor points to help assess your eligibility. Six selection factors are assessed and assigned an overall score out of 100, If you score 67 points or higher, you may qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker Program.

The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade. The program uses six selection factors as part of a 100-point grid to assess eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You earn points for how well you do in each of the 6 factors. The current pass mark is 67 points.

The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents. To qualify for this program you must meet the following minimum requirements:

meet the required language levels needed for your job for each language ability

  • Writing
  • Reading
  • Listening
  • Speaking

have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada in the last 3 years before you apply—you can meet this in a few different ways:

  • Full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full-time (1,560 hours)
  • Equal amount in part-time work: for example 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1-year full-time (1,560 hours)
    • You can work as many part-time jobs as you need to meet this requirement.
  • Full-time work at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1-year full-time (1,560 hours)

have gained your work experience by working in Canada while under temporary resident status with authorization to work

This program is for workers who have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory, want to live in that province and want to become permanent residents of Canada. Each province and territory has its own “streams” (immigration programs that target certain groups) and requirements. To qualify for this program, you have to meet the following requirements:

  • Meet the eligibility requirements of the province or territory and
  • Submit an Express Entry profile and show that you meet the minimum criteria for Express Entry, including being eligible for one of the immigration programs it covers.
Family Sponsorship

Family Sponsorship

We provide expert immigration advice and representation in various Canadian Immigration programs including Family Sponsorship application management. Your relatives can live, study and work in Canada if they become permanent residents of Canada. You can sponsor certain relatives to come to Canada if you’re at least 18 years old and a:

  • Canadian citizen or
  • Person registered in Canada as an Indian under the Canadian Indian Act or
  • Permanent resident of Canada
